From the Pastor

Welcome to our web site! We hope as you browse our site, you get a sense of who we are. Brooklawn United Methodist Church is a fellowship of people who are seeking to live for God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength. We have young families as well as middle aged and older adults. We have an active Sunday School, youth programs, and men & women's groups, as well as great worship services.

If you do not have a church in which you are active and you are looking for a church, we would like to invite you to join us at Brooklawn United Methodist Church. We believe you will find a friendly welcome here and spiritual nurture for your soul. We seek to know the Lord in our daily lives and to make Him known to all we meet. We have something for every age group to help all people come to know God personally and walk with Him through faith in Jesus Christ. We'd love to have you come and learn with us.

Brooklawn United Methodist Church is a family-oriented, evangelical, Bible-believing church that preaches the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ. We have a strong missions emphasis and believe that Jesus makes a difference in the life of everyone who trusts in Him. We believe that the transforming power of faith in Jesus continues to change lives, giving us meaning and purpose. As people search for spiritual truth, the timeless power and truth of the Bible & the Lord Jesus it proclaims continues to be the answer for life's questions.

If I can be of any assistance to you or your family as a pastor, please do not hesitate to call. I will be pleased to help.

Daniel J. Amey, Pastor

Our Mission Statement

We are a body of believers in Jesus Christ as the only and complete means of salvation, committed to the authority of the Bible as the infallible Word of God, and organized under the Wesleyan tradition of the United Methodist Church.

Our Mission under the guidance of the Holy Spirit is:

  • To assemble together to worship and glorify God.
  • To lead all ages in our fellowship to Biblical spiritual maturity and Christian service.
  • To obey Jesus’ command to go and make disciples, proclaiming the Gospel– locally, nationally, and internationally.
  • To lovingly care for the poor, the hopeless, the needy, and the brokenhearted.
